After the prayer initiative, I am now as well as I was in my best times. I had Parkinson’s disease and can now walk, write and read again.

I would like to tell you that, during that time, after exactly seven days, my brother U, who was on my prayer list, gave his life to Jesus. He had previously never been interested when I wanted to pray the prayer of commitment with him. But during the prayer initiative, the Lord said to me, “Ask your brother now.” So I did and could not believe my ears: “OK, Gudrun. Come on, let’s do it right now,” he said cheerfully. I was taken totally by surprise but was really pleased. Many thanks!

I am writing about the prayer initiative. God has introduced decisively new situations into my son’s life: (1) relationship with God, (2) a new job, (3) car and (4) not least, the gift of God – a partner for life.
He talked to me about God, which he had never seriously done before … and God revealed himself to him. I was able to tell him about things I had experienced with God. And he gladly listened.
To my surprise I noticed that all four things happened in the same period; it is God at work after the prayer initiative.

The 10 Days of Prayer had, most of all, a powerful impact on my little 12-year-old brother. I asked you to pray for spiritual growth for him. During the 10 Days of Prayer there was also a youth conference in our church fellowship. The Holy Spirit not only brought about a spiritual breakthrough in my brother’s life; he also received physical healing. Since his birth he had been unable to see any colours and was therefore classified colour-blind. However, EVERYTHING is possible for our God and when, on the final evening of the conference, my brother saw the world in colour for the first time, he was more than overawed! To Jesus be all the honour!!!

My cousin M was diagnosed as having lymph node cancer and had had two chemotherapy sessions in the past six months. I prayed almost daily in my usually pattern of prayer for him to be healed. Today, 24 June, I had him on the CfaN list and had passed it on to you. A few days ago the doctors told him that he was free of cancer! To God the Father and the Son be all thanks and glory!!!

Jesus heals wonderfully! My granddaughter D was very ill; she had an auto-immune inflammation of the liver and the liver was destroying itself. My prayer request was for her healing. When she next went for a check-up, her liver values were back to normal. Praise be to our great God, who continues to perform miracles. We are so grateful to all fellow pray-ers. Be blessed.

Dear Friends, Thank you for the prayer initiative. Without noticing it, I had grown apart from Jesus. But through the prayer initiative I have now been filled again with his love and his fire. My mother-in-law had been ill with pneumonia for four weeks and was still very weak. After prayer she felt really well again.
My daughter had been unwell throughout the school year and easily felt overwhelmed by the demands of school. She was only able to spend a short time studying before it all become too much for her to cope with. After prayer, she now has much more motivation and staying power when studying.

Thank you for the prayer initiative. For two people something really specific took place. After two years off work because of illness, a brother from church was given an opportunity to go back to work. He was about to be pensioned off, which he did not really want. This opportunity arose one day after the day on which we prayed for him. Thank you, Jesus.
Another thing, my nephew (not yet a Christian) was about to have to redo the school year because he had been absent too often. Amazingly, the teachers decided that he would be given another chance (totally unexpected). We continue to pray for him. The Lord is wonderful, and knowing that many people were praying with me was a great boost to prayer. Thank you again.

My friend R was being bullied at work, taunted and sent to Coventry by all his colleagues without exception. Today was the day of prayer for him. That evening he told me that his colleagues had been transformed and had chatted in a friendly manner with him! That was the first positive news about his work that I have heard from him in the past one or two years! I naturally hope that things stay that way and get even better and that it was not just a passing phase.

Some time ago I asked for prayer for my marriage. It was just about OVER!!!! Today I can say that it has become a lot better, we are looking to the future with lots of optimism and know that we are going to make it.

On the fifth day of the prayer chain, you and I prayed for D and P. They had broken off all contact with his parents and brothers and sisters three years ago. On 24 June, i.e. one week later, D sent an email to his parents with a photo of his fourth child, who had just been born, and said that their door was open again and that they were looking forward to a visit from them. Hallelujah! The Lord opened that door and I am thrilled that D and his family are back in touch. To the Lord be all the glory; he restores and we are his helpers. I would like to thank everyone who prayed with us so that this miracle could take place. The strength and power of our Lord is overwhelming. Thank the Lord for everything.

In June I took part in the “10 Days of Prayer”. S was on my prayer list. She was pregnant and after the first few weeks, the pregnancy turned out to be very difficult. The doctors said that she might lose the child. S had to lie still in bed all the time. After her family and the brothers and sisters prayed (through the 10 Days of Prayer), the pregnancy got better and better. Despite what the doctors said, the last two months passed by without complications. S was able to function normally and last week she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The birth went amazingly quickly and well. Thanks to all brothers and sisters for your prayers.

I have been praying for my family ever since I was converted three years ago. During the prayer initiative my wife and her daughter agreed to go with me to church for the first time. I am leaving the rest to the Lord.

I would like to thank the Lord and the CfaN team!!! New doors have opened for my daughter, who had stopped going to school, and she has been given a place at the grammar school! One of the people on my list had problems with her lungs. The doctors could not really say what it was. Two days after the prayer initiative, the person was completely healed! No sign of “shadows” on the lungs. I believe that it is the Lord who has worked and I would like to thank you very much. All glory goes to our Lord. God bless you!

I decided on the spur of the moment to join in the prayer initiative. I did not spend long thinking about it but quickly slotted in the names of the people for whom I have long had a burden on the different days. Today I have to say that God himself guided that allocation. Every Bible verse was exactly right for the person and situation in question!

That evening, as I read your letter with joy and put together the “top ten” for prayer, the Holy Spirit began to work right away. The next morning my husband told me that he had slept more deeply and soundly than he had done for a long time. I do not know what is going on. He was as if transformed. He has been ill for a long time (slipped disc and bad nerves), but I believe that he will regain his health. Hallelujah.
