Attend a CfaN Gospel-Campaign in Africa!

Thank you for your interest in being a part of a Christ for all Nations evangelistic campaign! You are most welcome to attend one of our events in Africa. Below you will see just how you can participate:

PREREQUISITES

  • You have to be at least 21 years old.
  • You must be able to pay for your own travel expenses: airfare, hotel reservation, transfers and meals.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

  • We will gladly help you with your travel arrangements and see to it that you are booked into the same hotels as our team. With your security in mind, staying in other hotels is not recommended, and any other accommodation (youth hostels, local families etc) is totally impossible. All local transportation (including airport runs and domestic flights) will be handled by our local office. Payments for these arrangements need to be made on location in cash and in US$.
  • If you are located in the US or Europe, we offer to book your flights for you. The airfare will be deducted directly from your credit card as soon as the tickets are issued (approx four weeks prior to departure).
  • You may also contact your local travel agent; however, it is not wise to book a low fare ticket that is neither refundable nor changeable. We do experience last minute changes sometimes and in that case you might lose the whole ticket.

HOTEL AND OTHER COSTS

  • As we will have campaigns also in other countries in East and West Africa in the following months the prices might vary.
  • The room rates in Africa are very high. It is always necessary to include one night in Lagos as most international flights arrive late and the local journey can only be continued the next morning.

Hotel in Lagos

€ 400 Per night, per room

Hotel on other locations

€ 155 – 235 Per night, per room

Transfers (approx.)

€ 390 For the entire stay

Local flights (if needed)

€ 225-300 Per person

Each meal (approx.)

25 € each meal

  • Kindly note that all fares and rates are subject to change. It is no problem to bring dry or tinned food, tea and/or coffee bags. Bottled water is available.
  • The overall cost per person would be approximately € 2.100 plus the airfare for single accommodation and approximately € 1.350 for shared accommodation (2 per room). Twin rooms are not always available.
  • The airfare from Europe to Nigeria varies between € 1.100 – 1.500 depending upon availability.
  • You should be prepared to face extremely modest and simple accommodations.  Hotels in West Africa are usually not comparable to anything we know and may not meet the hygienic standards we are used to. Running water and electricity may not be available at all times.

VISA AND VACCINATION

  • You are responsible for meeting the local requirements such as visa regulations and vaccination certificates. Information is available from your nearest Embassy or on other visa websites depending on the country you are located in. CfaN will provide you with the invitation letter which might be required by some Embassies.
  • Visa and vaccination fees may vary but you should calculate an additional 250,00 € for the visa and approx 300,00 € for all vaccinations. For current vaccination information please contact your nearest Health Service for Travellers.

PAYMENTS IN AFRICA

  • Please note that it is not safe to use credit cards in Africa.
  • All hotels and food bills need to be paid cash (US Dollars) on location.

TRAVEL CHECKLIST

  • We will provide you with a checklist and further information on food, clothing and safety requirements. Should you have specific health needs, it is advisable that you contact your GP.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

  • Christ for all Nations takes no responsibility for personal loss or any inconvenience to visitors which may result from the sometimes sensitive situations in those countries we minister in. All of our campaigns and venues are subject to change and, should the political situation require this, the event can be cancelled on location. In this case, Christ for all Nations will not reimburse any ticket fees that might arise due to changes or cancellations. We highly recommend medical travel insurance as Christ for all Nations will not reimburse any costs for medical services.
  • Many people offer their help at these events, but because we spend weeks training the local people to be fully responsible for all aspects of the event organization, we normally find it difficult to offer effective tasks, except the simple and general ones of joining in the intercession, or assisting in other general duties. We will do our best; however, to make you feel welcome.
  • All indications without engagement, subject to modifications.

We hope this information is helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions.
