Arrival in Numan, Nigeria
Tuesday, 16 February 2010
Today we arrived in the city of Numan where our Gospel Campaign begins tomorrow night. The enthusiastic welcome was overwhelming. The people flooded the streets dancing, and rejoicing and many of the people ran beside our vehicle for miles as we paraded through the town.
We were also welcomed to the palace of the local traditional ruler who expressed joy at our coming and said that he believed this is a strategic and divinely appointed time for the land. Similar sentiments were repeated tonight by the local pastors who are greatly anticipating what God will do here.
Please pray for us and for the land of Numan this week as we challenge the powers of darkness and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness. Pray that the Lord would confirm his work with mighty signs and wonders and for protection for our team. Stay tuned throughout the week...we will keep you informed as the campaign unfolds. The best is yet to come!

A Song in the darkness, Nigeria
Wednesday, 17 February 2010
Praise the Lord…the OUTPOURING continues!! We have just returned from the first meeting of the Gospel Campaign here in Numan, Nigeria where 85,000 people covered the field! During my message our huge generator suddenly broke down leaving the crowd in darkness. Our tech team was working to find a solution when suddenly thousands voices began to sing out of the darkness. The people were praising the Lord and worshiping…it was so beautiful. When the power came back on and I realized that no one had left, I heard the words of John 1:5 ringing in my heart; “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
After the prayer for salvation I prayed for the sick and miracles began to pop like popcorn. A woman, crippled for 21 years began to walk without help. A man blind for 5 years and a woman blind for 4 years suddenly received perfect sight (see the attached picture). A young man unable to speak since he was 10-months old began to speak clearly. At one point my eyes filled with tears as I saw what God had done in the lives of so many precious people.
Tomorrow morning the Fire Conference begins and over the next few days thousands of pastors and church workers will receive an impartation from Heaven. Numan will never be the same in Jesus name!
Please continue to pray for us.

The crowd doubles
Thursday, 18 February 2010
We were thrilled when we came in sight of the crusade field tonight and saw how many people had come. Attendance doubled tonight to 170,000 people! The atmosphere was absolutely electric … I wish you could have been there. I preached on the Blood of Jesus to cleanse, heal, redeem and protect and then, after the prayer of salvation, I broke the curses over the land through the authority we have because of that precious blood and immediately healing began to take place.
- A woman blind from birth suddenly received her sight tonight. It was fascinating to see her reaction to everything that she was seeing for the first time.
- An old man, totally blind for the last 4 years was healed tonight
- A woman deaf in both ears for 7 years demonstrated how she can hear now
- A man crippled for 28 years was healed along with another man crippled for 8 years and another for 6 years
Another interesting testimony was from a woman who was barren 2 years ago when we came to YOLA (which is also here in Adamawa state). During that crusade, she was healed and she had a little boy 9-months later. I asked her what they had named the child. “His name is Reinhard” she told me. The crowd rejoiced.
What a privilege to be here in Numan, preaching to hungry souls and seeing the glorious effects of the Gospel. Thank you for sending us and please continue to pray for us … this is only the beginning.

Incredible mercy!
Friday, 19 February 2010
This morning the Fire Conference venue was packed by 5:30 am. Rev. Peter van den Berg and I preached as the sun was still rising over Numan, but the people were wide-awake. Tomorrow is “Holy Spirit Day” and the conclusion of the Fire Conference. I am sure that there will be a mighty outpouring of the Fire of God.
Tonight, 200,000 people attended the meeting. The crowd seemed to stretch to the horizon. I'm sure that most could not see the preacher on the platform, but through our massive sound system, every one heard the Gospel clearly and there was a huge response. I am sure that there is great joy in the presence of the angels tonight.
The Lord also confirmed his Word with many mighty signs and wonders:
- A man totally deaf and dumb for the last 10 years can now hear and speak perfectly
- A woman brought her brother who had been a lunatic for 13 years. She said that he would burn any clothes that were given to him and he would run through the streets naked. He is now clothed and in his right mind.
- A Muslim man who was unable to bend his back was totally and instantly healed. He announced to the crowd that Jesus had healed him and unashamedly said, “Thank you Jesus”!
Jesus does not discriminate against anyone. He comes to those that least deserve it and goes to great lengths to seek and save the lost…what incredible mercy! We are living witnesses to that mercy and participants in this great divine initiative that commenced at Calvary. He is the Lord of the harvest and we are his partners.
Thank you for continuing to pray for us. Africa is being saved!

The great miracle!
Saturday, 20 February 2010
I was so touched tonight by the testimony of one Muslim man who was instantly healed of severe chronic pain that had plagued him for many years. He said, “There are many Muslims here tonight that know me”. I asked him if he had received Jesus as his Savior and he replied, “YES, I have received him with both hands!” He went on to tell me that he has great joy in his heart, which he never had before and I could see it on his face and hear it in his voice…he had been truly born again. He finished by saying, “I thank God in the name of Jesus Christ!” Praise the Lord!
We saw many incredible miracles tonight, including many blind and crippled people, a little girl with leprosy and others, but the greatest miracle of all is the miracle of salvation. Salvation is so much more than mere mental ascent given to a few doctrinal statements; it is a supernatural and miraculous phenomenon. A person whose spirit is dead unto God and eternally separated from God suddenly is resurrected from sin and death and made spiritually alive and born again into the divine family. Hallelujah!! Though we have seen millions of people receive this miracle, it never gets old…it is always remarkable and we thank God on our knees.
This morning was also the final meeting of the Fire Conference and the Holy Spirit fell, touching thousands of church workers that packed the stadium to capacity (see the attached picture). But the Holy Spirit is not just for clergy, He has come for every child of God. That is why tonight we also prayed for the massive crowd and once again there was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit and an acute awareness of his extraordinary presence. There is no doubt that Numan has received out of HIS fullness!
Tomorrow is the final meeting here in Numan and I am sure that Jesus has saved the best for last. Thank you for your continued prayer.

A soul winner's dream
Sunday, 21 February 2010
Another incredible Gospel Campaign has come to a close, just moments ago, here in Numan, Nigeria and our hearts are rejoicing at everything that the Lord has done here this week. A total of 835,000 people attended the meetings and a huge percentage of them made positive decisions to receive Jesus Christ as their savior. Also, 45,000 people attended the fire conference, innumerable healings, deliverances and Holy Sprit baptisms took place. Many of the local pastors already reported that their churches were flooded with new converts this morning and an entire city has been impacted by the power of the Gospel in a profound way. This is every soul-winner's dream!
Many wonderful healings took place in tonigh’ts including a woman who had been blind in one eye for the last two years. A man who had been paralyzed for the past 16 years from a stroke was also totally healed (see attached picture) along with a woman who was deaf and dumb…and many others. To God be all the glory!
Thank you so much for helping us to come to Numan. It has been well worth every dollar spent and every sacrifice made. I am sure that the Lord will reward you richly for your generosity. We are returning to Nigeria in less than 4 weeks; this time to the city of Takum. We anticipate another mighty harvest there and we urgently need your help at this time as final preparations are underway. Please continue to stand with us in this historic harvest for the salvation of Africa.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda,
