The functioning of
Christ for all Nations
CfaN is a non-denominational Christian missions organisation. We spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through preaching and printed material. Our books have been published all around the world in 140 languages, with over 178 million copies in print. In one year alone, CfaN reached over 10 million people face to face - through crusades and conferences. Our main focus is Africa, where the Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusades have impacted whole nations and have drawn worldwide attention. We would like to introduce you to Christ for all Nations.

Non-denominational:
Serving the whole body of Christ
The Gospel crusades in Africa are planned many months in advance and take place in close cooperation with the local churches. Leaders from a variety of denominations make up the planning committee, such as Lutherans, Anglicans, Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, Pentecostals, Charismatics etc. Many hundreds of churches (sometimes even over 1,000) work together in sometimes up to 16 different committees, which results in them growing closer together. This kind of cooperation is a key experience of Christian unity for all participants.
“Previously we have not
had this level of unity. It was difficult for us to come together, but
this campaign brought us closer and we know now: We belong together!”
Bishop Adejumo from Akure (Nigeria)
Preparation:
Intensive teaching for Christians
All participating local churches provide counsellors who receive intensive training before the actual crusade. In addition, a Fire Conference takes place each morning of the campaign. These meetings motivate and equip pastors, missionaries, evangelists and other church workers for the work ahead. These conferences mostly take place in sports stadiums and are attended on average by between 20,000 and 50,000 people.
Without compromise:
Preaching Gospel Truth
In five evening meetings the listeners are brought, step by step, into the saving truth of the Gospel. Over several decades, a unique and effective style of evangelism has been developed. Around the world these meetings rank as big events, bringing together not only church leaders of all denominations but also state leaders, government ministers and local chiefs. Depending on the size of the city, the attendance is often between 500,000 to 800,000 people, but we have also seen over one million in a single service. In November 2000, 1.6 million people came to the final meeting of our “Millennium Crusade” in Lagos, Nigeria. Reinhard Bonnke’s simple and clear message is followed by a challenging call to salvation, which spells out both the importance and results of an earnest decision for Christ.
Clarity: Leading people to a distinct decision
All over the crusade field, thousands of local counsellors wait in the crowd to give our 32-page follow-up booklet (“Now that you are saved”) to the new converts and to help them fill out the decision card. It states that they have received Jesus Christ as their Saviour and now want to live according to the Word of God, as well as attend a local church. One copy of the card remains in the booklet; the originals are collected and passed on to the participating churches for them to start the follow-up work. These booklets are given out free of charge and also contain vital information for their new life in Christ. So far, over 90 million booklets have been printed, in 50 different languages.
Effective:
Prayer for people’s needs
The prayer for healing and deliverance is an important part of every crusade meeting. Great numbers of astounding signs and wonders happen every time. As in Bible times, the blind see, the cripples walk, many different afflictions and diseases disappear, spiritual needs are met, relationships in marriages, and even whole families, are restored.
Efficient: Guaranteed local follow-up
After each crusade, all decision cards are distributed among the participating local churches. Thus the follow-up is the churches’ responsibility. The goal is for the counsellors to visit every new convert, invite them to church, pray with them and keep in touch with them. Generally, after each crusade, the local participating churches grow by 100, sometimes even 200 per cent.
Lasting Fruit: Churches are built
Through the newly established unity and attendance growth in the churches, Christian faith becomes more important and significant in the region. Christians are encouraged to pray, be a witness and to “carry the torch”. As a rule, after a crusade crime drops considerably, stolen goods are returned, debts and taxes are paid, etc. Many criminals vow to start a new life, alcoholics find the strength to stop drinking, and violent people find peace through their encounter with God.
